Camp Concert Hall

Image of the Camp Concert HallCamp Concert Hall in the Booker Hall of Music is the central performance venue for musical presentations of the Modlin Center for the Arts. The hall is specifically designed for music, and it is one of the premiere halls to play and record in on the East Coast due to its sophisticated acoustical design.

Other programs appear in Camp from time to time, including dance troupes, lecturers or University events with large audiences (such as orientation events).

The hall boasts a stage that is 27 feet deep and 58 feet wide, making it large enough to accommodate such large ensembles as the University Orchestra, University Band and University Choir. Other ensembles perform regularly in Camp Concert Hall, including the Richmond Symphony.
