Recording Studio

The Department of Music recording studio consists of three different rooms: a control room, a live room, and an isolation room. Audio and video connections join the three rooms to each other and additional audio and video lines connect to our concert hall. The studio also supports Dante audio networking in Booker Hall of music and other venues and live streaming of department events.

Music Library

The Music Library is a resource for all UR students, faculty, and staff; members of the community are also welcome to visit. A recent renovation created a greatly enlarged study area with many options for seating. The collection includes more than 13,000 CDs, 18,000 scores, and 12,000 books about all types of music and dance. The DVD collection includes operas, musicals, dance performances, concerts, instructional programs, and documentaries. Laptop computers, iPads, a printer, a photocopier, and a scanner are also available.

Enter the Music Library via the second floor of Booker Hall or the third floor of the Modlin Center.
